I feel so inspired.

Today i went to silver cross to get my dressing changed. Yikes, it hurts lah. I saw my wound n stitch. Err one word--- ugly. But i feel motivated sumhow.

The doctor was wonderful, so chatty and yes, inspirational. He asked me wad i planned to do in future and i said i havent really planned ( my ambition keeps changing). Curious, i asked him whether studying medicine was tough? He told me, in uni every course is just as demanding and rigorous as the other. As long as u lurve wad u are doin, nothin is too hard. Even if they gif u tons and tons of work to do, u noe those will be the things u love to do and its not a chore anymore. He told me about how he passed his interview and just knowing he wanted to be a doctor. He said he was lucky he passed the interview but to me, i think he's really charismatic and a great person. I am really glad he became a doc, cos i really believe he will be a great one. Having asked so much, he said i looked interested in being a doctor too. Lolx, i couldnt even dare to see him dress my wound or when DR Suren was doing the stitch. But one good thing is i didnt scream nor cry. Hehe. I feel as he said, squirm-ish about blood. Lolx but he impressed me again with his yet another inspirational thought. Nothin is too big of a hurdle to cross, he totally suck in chinese but coincidentally or maybe not, his patients are the chinese speaking and lower income group ppl and he had to converse in it 24/7. He overcame it and said i could too. Lolx, after goin thru a year on anatomy, it might jus bcome one of the everyday thing i see. Perhaps my fear was a bit overrated. I felt so good about him and his pep talk that when i left the room, I told him he would be a great doctor. Instead he shocked me by saying i would be the great one. Ahaha, got a sudden urge to be a doctor.

Sometimes i think i look down a lot on myself, or perhaps i was too hopeful. I hate being seconds or worse at the bottom, I know no1 likes it but some times i m just too competitive by nature. With myself and with others. Its always great to have a dream but i dont c my calling. I dont wanna a job that i do purely for money though that's how the world works. I wanna truly enjoy and love the job i m in. Currently i m still searching, accountacy is prob sumthin that could get the bread, but i guess now i wanted something more after the visit. I want a passion. I might not have been good in it, but i jus wanna do sumthin i want to do. I hate the life of being so obliged into doin anything just to get into the good books of elites in society.

This short pep talk would last me a long time. I feel great and motivated about life. I should adopt a more positive outlook. I wanna be a thinker and i like analysing things. Hmm wad could i be?

Lolx. Perhaps the fall wasnt so bad :D I think all doctors by far have been so nice to me. :D I like doctors, though i hope i wont visit them especially when i m the patient.

Happy chinese new year everyone!! :D (RANDOM) lolx.
